How does ordering a commission work?

Step 1: Consultation
You and the artist will communicate to clarify exactly what you envision, so she can run in the right creative direction. See the Order page for the details that will be discussed before the price is finalized.

Step 2: Deposit
Secure your order with a 20% deposit, as this will allow the artist to purchase any necessary materials and get started on your project!

Step 3: Revisions
When the artist has completed the sketch layer of the piece (i.e. the guidelines she will follow), she will send you a photo and you will have an opportunity to request revisions before the paint layer is applied.

Step 4: Delivery
The artist will send you a photo of the finished piece, and schedule a time for pickup or delivery.  If the piece is being delivered or picked up, the remaining 80% of the payment is due upon delivery. If it is being shipped, please send the remainder plus shipping costs beforehand.
